Part 1 - Do Men Still Need to Call Upon the Name of ”the LORD”?

Using Genesis chapter 4 as a launching pad, we'll pose the title's question. In ancient, biblical times, names had great meaning and purpose. This is simply not the case today as generic terms such as "God" suffice.

Scripturally, calling upon the specific Name of "Yahweh" held great esteem, honor and holiness. But what about us today? Does this matter anymore, thousands of years removed? Let's find out!
